The Color of Entrepreneurship

The Color of Entrepreneurship report also states that the US is missing out on a $300 billion economic boost and the creation of 9 million more jobs. The current color of entrepreneurship is dismal in comparison to the actual US population. But, many predict that change can and will happen. Here’s why:

1. Minority entrepreneurs are breaking barriers, smashing stereotypes and building successful startups.
2. According to Pew Research Center, the United States will not have a single racial or ethnic majority by 2055.
3. Millennials are going to be the change agents. Millennials are the most educated group to date, and over 43 percent non-white.

These stats show that there’s still much work to be done to increase diversity all across business types however, where there’s a lack, there’s always opportunity – especially to get that green!
