Melo, Griffin, Wade & More Bring the Funny for the Holidays

It’s the holiday season and a few of our favorite NBA players are here to spread the joy. In promotion for the slew of basketball games that will have us glued to our TVs this Christmas day (after dinner, of course) and as an extension of the This Is Why We Play campaign –  “The Most Dunktastic Time of the Year” features  Blake Griffin (LA Clippers) , Cleveland Cavaliers’ Kevin Love, Dwyane Wade (Chicago Bulls) , New York Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony, Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green, Minnesota Timberwolves Zach LaVine, Oklahoma City Thunder’s Victor Oladipo, and Los Angeles Lakers’ D’Angelo Russell.

Based on the well-known Christmas tune, “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” and made popular by Andy Williams, “The Most Dunktastic Time of the Year” features NBA stars harmonizing over flashy behind the back passes, deep three-point shots and powerful slam dunks. All eight players featured will be in action on Christmas Day, with the slate of exciting games,  including what many refer to as the main event – the 2016 NBA Finals rematch between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

• Golden State Warriors @ Cleveland Cavaliers at 2:30 p.m. ET on ABC
• Chicago Bulls @ San Antonio Spurs at 5 p.m. ET on ABC
• Minnesota Timberwolves @ Oklahoma City Thunder at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN
• LA Clippers @ LA Lakers at 10:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
