Here’s a preview of what the NBA is cooking up this week. 





Golden State Warriors @ Oklahoma City Thunder – Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 8 p.m. ET, ESPN

  • Reigning MVP Russell Westbrook of the Thunder and 2017 Finals MVP Kevin Durant meet for the first time this season. Westbrook and Durant were teammates for eight seasons in OKC.
  • Durant, teammate Klay Thompson and OKC’s Paul George and Carmelo Anthony were teammates on USA Basketball’s gold-medal-winning team at the 2016 Rio Olympics.  

Los Angeles Lakers @ Sacramento Kings – Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 10:30 p.m. ET, ESPN

  • The Lakers’ Lonzo Ball and the Kings’ De’Aaron Fox square off for the first time since Fox scored 39 points for Kentucky in a win over UCLA in the Sweet 16 of the 2017 NCAA Tournament.  

Denver Nuggets @ Houston Rockets – Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 8 p.m. ET, NBA LEAGUE PASS

  • This game features two ascendant young (and international) big men: the Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic (Serbia) and the Rockets Clint Capela (Switzerland). Both are averaging a double-double this season.  

New York Knicks @ Houston Rockets – Saturday, Nov. 25 at 8 p.m. ET, NBA TV

  • In the last meeting between the Knicks and Rockets in Houston, on Dec. 31, 2016, James Harden became the first player in NBA history to have at least 50 points, 15 assists and 15 rebounds in a game. He finished with 53 points, 17 assists and 16 rebounds.
